What if the workspace simply cannot be properly heated?
Today was day 1 of the SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNOLOGY DortmundWe are often in halls where the temperature is deliberately lowered to save energy, while shortwave infrared technology is used to create warmth locally at the workplace. However, many visitors at the trade fair have such large or open halls that a full-area heating system is out of the question, and attempts to heat locally (e.g., with gas patio heaters or heating plates) have so far been unsuccessful. It’s great to see how the solution is discovered here at the booth with electric infrared heaters!
