Availability for pickup could not be loaded
The Ecosun S+ Anticor is a long-wave infrared ceiling heater (IR-C dark radiator) with a corrosion-resistant Alu-Zinc housing and double protective coating. It heats well-insulated halls, workshops and wet rooms evenly, silently and without drafts when installed at a height of 3 to 5 meters. Available in six output levels from 900 W to 3600 W, for 230 V or 400 V.

Which rooms is the Ecosun S+ Anticor suitable for?
The Ecosun S+ Anticor is the right choice for compact, well-insulated spaces with low air exchange where even, widespread heat distribution is desired. It excels wherever standard heaters quickly reach their limits due to corrosion.
Typical applications:
- Workshops and smaller production halls with good insulation
- Wet rooms, laundries and car washes
- Food processing and commercial kitchens
- Farms, stables and storage rooms
- Buildings near the coast with salt-laden air
- Zone heating for individual workstations in enclosed halls
The Ecosun S+ Anticor is less suitable for large, open or poorly insulated halls with high ceilings, frequently opened doors or strong drafts. For these environments, we recommend our high-performance radiant heaters TEL Forza and TEL Forza Carbon (see comparison below).

How much heating capacity do I need?
Full heating: At an installation height of 5 meters, use around 100 W per m² of hall floor area as a guideline. Depending on insulation and room conditions, the required capacity may be around 20 W/m² higher or lower.
Calculation example: A well-insulated workshop measuring 80 m² requires around 8,000 W for full heating—for example, two Ecosun S+ 36 Anticor units (3,600 W each) plus one Ecosun S+ 09 Anticor (900 W).
Zone heating: If you only need to heat individual workstations, we recommend using several smaller units at an installation height of 3 to 4.5 meters. Connected in series and controlled separately, they save energy and distribute heat exactly where work is being done.
We’d be happy to calculate the heating capacity required for your hall.
Anticor version: Protection for harsh environments
The casing is made of aluminum-zinc sheet metal with a double protective coating. This construction prevents electrochemical reactions on the casing and ensures a long service life, even with consistently high humidity, salty air or chemical exposure, such as from cleaning agents or ammonia in barns.
Advantages of the long-wave dark radiator
- No glare: no visible light, comfortable in workspaces
- Silent and draft-free: no fan, no dust stirred up
- Maintenance-free: no bulbs or other wear parts
- Even heat: ideal for enclosed spaces with consistent use
- On demand: thermostat-controlled, heating only when needed
- Flexible: for whole-space or zone heating, at 230 V or 400 V
Installation and mounting
The Ecosun S+ Anticor is mounted on the ceiling or wall. The optionally available angle brackets for Ecosun S+ Anticor let you tilt the heater and direct the heat toward the desired area. Models up to 1200 W connect to 230 V; from 1800 W onward, you can choose to connect to either 230 V or 400 V. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Note on the Ecodesign Regulation: Under Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, the Ecosun S+ Anticor is designed to operate with an external room thermostat. This must provide electronic room temperature control with a weekly program and at least one additional function, such as adaptive heating start control, app-based remote control or open-window detection.
Long-wave or high-power heater: Ecosun S+ Anticor compared with TEL Forza
Which infrared heater is best suited depends mainly on the installation height, insulation and air movement in the hall.
| Criteria | Ecosun S+ Anticor | TEL Forza / Forza Carbon |
|---|---|---|
| Installation height | 3 to 5 m | also significantly above 5 m |
| Building | well insulated, enclosed | open, high or poorly insulated |
| Air movement | low | even with open doors and drafts |
| Heating effect | even, wide-area | fast, direct radiant heat |
| Special feature | corrosion-resistant, no light | high output for large areas and individual workstations |
For large industrial halls, warehouses with roller doors or workstations in poorly insulated buildings, TEL Forza and TEL Forza Carbon are generally the more efficient solution. The Ecosun S+ Anticor complements the range for compact, sheltered and corrosive environments.
Frequently asked questions about the Ecosun S+ Anticor
