Apollo Infrared Heater
The robust TANSUN Apollo models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimal heating performance. The design provides optimal cooling for the heater’s critical components. This feature is particularly important indoors, as there is generally less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and designed for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours per day).
This series can be used to heat individual work areas from 10 sqm, as well as to implement full-area (zoned) heating solutions in halls.
Key features:
Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily heat surfaces rather than the air. Similar to sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air temperature remains cold – but entirely without UV radiation. This feature is particularly beneficial when loading-bay doors need to be opened regularly or the hall is not extensively insulated.
Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters provide immediate warmth to surfaces and people without first having to heat the room air.
Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible, demand-based heating of various open areas within a hall, helping to optimize energy consumption.
Straightforward installation: Simple installation without extensive construction work minimizes space requirements and preserves flexibility in room design. Electric infrared heating systems can be installed not only in new buildings but also in existing properties. In these cases, installing underfloor heating or activating the concrete core is generally not a practical option. This technology also requires neither a gas connection nor an exhaust flue.
Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with an appropriate electricity supply, carbon-neutral operation is even possible. In this case, the solution helps you heat in compliance with the GEG (German Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.
Made in Europe: Short transport routes and fair working conditions are guaranteed.

Scope of delivery: Wall bracket (can be tilted upwards and downwards); no connection cable is supplied, as the required length varies depending on the installation site.
Heated area: up to approx. 45 sqm (approx. 200 watts per square metre), depending on the mounting height and ambient temperature
Applications
Workstations at loading-bay doors, workshops, sports halls, hall heating, tent halls, workstations for machine and plant operators, churches, etc.
Installation and operation
Installation: Each of the two wall brackets is secured to the wall with two screws (not included). Alternatively, the brackets can be mounted on the ceiling, or the heater can be suspended using chains (chains not included). An easily accessible wiring box is located on the back of the unit.
Operation: Simple switching on and off using a wired switch (not included). The heater can be controlled centrally or locally with an external dimmer – please contact us.
Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. To ensure optimal heating performance, the reflector must be kept clean. Before switching on, ensure that the heating tube is free of foreign objects (leaves, heavy soiling, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In the event of a defect, the tube can be replaced within a few minutes (see operating instructions).
With the “Apollo” infrared heater, you can enjoy immediate, efficient and environmentally friendly warmth at the touch of a button. Perfect for halls that are difficult to heat and where warmth is required for extended periods.
