The robust TEL Forza Carbon models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures that the heat output is used to optimum effect. The design provides optimum cooling for the critical components of the heater. This feature is extremely important indoors in particular, as there is usually less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and are also perfected for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours a day).

The carbon heaters in the Forza range use medium-wave infrared technology and therefore glow much less brightly than short-wave heaters. This makes them particularly suitable for applications where little or no distracting light is desired, for example in production areas with reflective surfaces, in churches or other light-sensitive environments.

The heat is emitted more evenly and noticeably more gently than with short-wave heaters. This makes the carbon heaters ideal for enclosed spaces where pleasant heat distribution over a large area is the priority.

In draughty or open areas, for example outdoors or where there is frequent air exchange, short-wave technology shows its strengths, as it transfers heat more directly and to specific spots.

Applications

Picking tables, packing tables, desks in halls, workplaces at warehouse doors, workshops, sports halls, hall heating, workstations for machine and plant operators, churches, tent halls, etc.

Installation and operation

Mounting: The wall bracket is fixed to the wall with screws. Screws and wall plugs are included in the scope of delivery. Alternatively, the bracket can be mounted on the ceiling or the heater can be suspended from chains (chains are not included in the scope of delivery).

Operation: Simply switch on and off with a hard-wired switch (not included in the scope of delivery).

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. To ensure optimum heating performance, the reflector must be kept clean. Before switching on, the heating tube should be free of foreign objects (leaves, heavy dirt, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In the event of a defect, the tube can be replaced in just a few minutes (see operating instructions).
