TEL Lumia and TEL Forza: Our New In-House Product Range for Infrared Heaters
Since 2003, we have been supplying the DACH region with high-quality infrared heaters from Leichlingen. Initially as Keratec Heatware and, since 2023, as TEL GmbH (Temperatur Experten Leichlingen). Throughout all these years, one principle has never been up for debate: maximum efficiency and durability, whether on the patio, in a conservatory or, increasingly, in halls, where conventional heating consumes particularly large amounts of energy due to high room volumes and open doors.
We are now bringing this commitment into our own consistently well-designed product architecture: TEL Lumia for outdoor and residential applications, and TEL Forza for professional hall applications. Both product ranges are now available and listed in our shop and current price list.
TEL Lumia: the new outdoor range
With TEL Lumia, we are bringing our outdoor expertise together under our own name for the first time. The range is tailored to typical applications such as patios, balconies, conservatories and outdoor hospitality areas, and is structured as a clearly organized product line with different performance levels.
TEL Lumia is available in three power levels:
- TEL Lumia 1.5 kW: for smaller patios, loggias and targeted heating zones
- TEL Lumia 2 kW: the versatile mid-range option for patios and covered outdoor areas
- TEL Lumia 3 kW: for larger areas and commercial outdoor applications, such as hospitality
TEL Lumia provides planners and operators with a clear, well-organized naming and power system that significantly simplifies selection based on area, installation location and desired heating effect.
TEL Forza: the new range for hall applications
For professional hall applications, we have developed the in-house TEL Forza range. It covers a continuous power range from 1.5 to 12 kW, allowing almost any hall size and room volume to be covered precisely:
- TEL Forza 1.5 kW / 2 kW: for smaller workshops, warehouses and ancillary rooms
- TEL Forza 3 kW / 4.5 kW: for medium-sized hall areas and workstations with increased heating requirements
- TEL Forza 6 kW / 9 kW / 12 kW: for large halls, high ceiling installations and areas with frequently opened doors
The advantages of short-wave infrared technology are particularly clear in halls with large air volumes and open doors: instead of heating the entire room air, TEL Forza heaters specifically warm people, work surfaces and machinery—efficiently, with no delay and independently of drafts.
Why we use short-wave infrared heating technology
Whether Lumia or Forza, both product ranges are based on the same technology, proven for more than 20 years, and on the same advantages that have always distinguished our heaters:
- Efficient heat: Our short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces rather than the air, similar to the sun's rays in winter. This allows you to enjoy pleasant warmth even when the ambient temperature remains low, entirely without UV radiation.
- Instant heat: No warm-up time required! Our heaters are ready for operation within just a few seconds.
- Environmentally friendly: Combined with renewable energy, carbon-neutral operation is possible.
