Commercial cooling

Mobile adiabatic cooling systems for halls: an energy-saving alternative to air conditioning (without refrigerants)

Is your hall too hot in summer? Our mobile evaporative coolers (adiabatic air coolers) improve the working climate quickly, energy-efficiently, and in an environmentally friendly way – without climate-damaging refrigerants and without permanent installation.

  • Noticeably cooler through the evaporative effect (depending on conditions, up to approx. 10 °C)
  • Very low power consumption (e.g. 750 W for the OKM 22 covering approx. 150–250 m²)
  • Mobile & flexible thanks to castors, a water tank, and an optional mains water connection
  • Suitable for industrial use in workshops, warehouses, logistics, and production halls

Rent for 1 month with no obligation: The rental costs will be credited toward the purchase.

When halls overheat in summer: better working conditions without air conditioning

In many businesses, high temperatures arise in summer due to machinery waste heat, solar radiation, and large hall volumes. Conventional air conditioners are often expensive to purchase and operate in halls and require complex installation. Adiabatic cooling systems are a practical solution for many commercial applications: efficient, mobile, and quick to deploy.

Advantages of adiabatic hall cooling (evaporative cooling)

  • Energy-efficient: No compressor technology – therefore usually significantly lower power consumption than conventional air conditioners.
  • Without refrigerant: No climate-damaging gases, no outdoor unit, and no complex installation.
  • Fresh-air principle: Continuous supply of cooled air instead of recirculated air only.
  • Mobile & ready to use immediately: Set it up, connect the power, fill the tank or connect the water supply – done.
  • Optional air treatment: Depending on the model, an ionizer/UV technology is available to improve air quality.

Important: The achievable temperature reduction depends, among other things, on the starting temperature, humidity, Hall layout and air exchange. Please refer to the temperature table for the respective product.

How does adiabatic cooling work?

Evaporative coolers (also known as adiabatic coolers or mobile air coolers for halls) use the natural principle evaporation:

  1. Warm air is drawn in.
  2. The air flows through water-soaked cooling pads.
  3. The cooled, slightly humidified air is released into the room.

The humidity typically increases only moderately (often by approx. 2–5%) and is barely noticeable in many applications.

Which size fits? Compare models by hall area

The area figures are guidelines and depend on the operating conditions. We will be happy to advise you to ensure reliable sizing.

Model Recommended area (guideline) Airflow Power consumption Tank / water Noise level
OKM 05 up to approx. 50 m² 5,000 m³/h see product data 90 L (automatic/manual) approx. 53/58/63 dB
OKM 12 approx. 80–150 m² 12,000 m³/h 500 W 70 L / 1/2" 54–63 dB
OKM 22 approx. 150–250 m² 22,000 m³/h 750 W 130 L / 1/2" < 70 dB

FAQ: Frequently asked questions about adiabatic hall cooling

How much can an adiabatic air cooler cool a hall?

Depending on the starting temperature, humidity, air exchange, and hall layout, noticeable cooling is possible— under suitable conditions, in some cases by up to approx. 10 °C. The temperature table for the respective product is decisive.

Does humidity increase significantly?

In many applications, humidity increases only moderately (often by approx. 2–5%). The actual change depends on the application.

Do I need an installation like with an air-conditioning system?

No. Mobile devices are set up and operated using electricity and water (tank or connection). There is no refrigerant and no outdoor unit is required.

How is delivery carried out?

Due to the device dimensions, delivery is generally made by freight forwarder on a pallet. Depending on the model, please allow allow approximately 1 week for delivery.

Are there discounts when purchasing several devices?

Yes. With several devices, the proportionate transport costs decrease—we will be happy to prepare an individual quote.

Consultation, sizing & quotation

Briefly tell us the hall size, area of application, and starting conditions—we will recommend the right device size (OKM 05 / 12 / 22 / 30) and prepare a quote (purchase or rental).
