Technical benefits at a glance
Energy efficiency
Our infrared heating panels operate with up to 99% energy efficiency through direct heat transfer and can be easily combined with photovoltaic systems and other renewable energy sources.
Health and comfort
Infrared technology primarily warms surfaces rather than the air, reducing air movement and dust circulation, making it suitable for allergy sufferers too.
Smart control
With a WiFi-enabled thermostat, the heating can be controlled via an app as well as through Alexa or Google Assistant, for convenient and energy-efficient operation.
Applications in living spaces
Living room
Cosy supplementary heat for relaxing evenings or as a complement to the main heating system.
Bathroom
Quick warmth after showering, for example with a glass radiant panel including a towel rail or with electric underfloor heating beneath tiles.
Home office
Targeted heating for the workspace without having to heat the entire room.
Conservatory
Efficient supplementary heat for rooms with large glass surfaces and correspondingly high heating requirements.

Frequently asked questions about living space heating
Are infrared heaters suitable for living spaces?
Yes. Infrared heating panels and glass radiant panels primarily heat surfaces rather than the air, making them well suited as supplementary heating or, when appropriately sized, as the sole room heating system.
What are the advantages of electric underfloor heating?
Electric underfloor heating provides even heat distribution from below, is installed invisibly beneath the floor covering, and is particularly suitable for tile and stone floors.
Do I always need a qualified electrician for installation?
The electrical connection of underfloor heating and permanently wired heating panels must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with VDE guidelines. The heating mat itself can also be installed by experienced DIY enthusiasts.
Is a thermostat required?
Yes. In accordance with EU Ecodesign Directive 2015/1188, electric heating panels and underfloor heating may only be operated in conjunction with a suitable external thermostat that provides electronic room temperature control with weekday scheduling and at least one additional function, such as a remote-control option or open-window detection.
Can I connect my living space heating to a smart home system?
Yes, the Digital WIFI Thermostat allows you to control and program the heating via app, as well as through Alexa or Google Assistant.
