Ecosun S+ Anticor infrared high-performance heater – The long-wave alternative for compact halls
The Ecosun S+ Anticor is the ideal heating solution for well-insulated, compact industrial rooms with ceiling heights of 3–5 meters. Unlike our short-wave high-performance heaters, this system works with long-wave IR-C radiation and is especially suitable for enclosed areas where even heat distribution is required.
While our range primarily focuses on short-wave Tansun infrared heaters, the Ecosun S+ Anticor offers a sensible addition for special applications: smaller halls and workshops with good insulation, corrosive environments, or areas where zone heating for targeted workplace areas is needed.
When is the Ecosun S+ Anticor the right choice?
This infrared heater is especially the right solution if you want to heat a well-insulated hall or workshop with low air exchange. The long-wave radiation is ideal for rooms up to 5 meters ceiling height where there are no extreme air movements caused by frequently opened doors or drafts. Especially in corrosive environments – such as damp rooms, laundries, car washes, coastal regions, or agricultural operations – the special Anticor coating shows its strengths.
Important note: For large, open halls or poorly insulated areas with high ceilings, we recommend our short-wave Tansun infrared heaters, which deliver efficient and direct heat even with strong air movement and higher mounting heights.
Technical features and benefits
The Ecosun S+ Anticor operates with a high-temperature heating element that reaches temperatures up to 380°C. The special Anticor coating consists of aluminum-zinc sheet with a double protective layer, specially developed for aggressive environments. This construction prevents electrochemical reactions and guarantees maximum durability even under extreme conditions with moisture, salt content, or chemical exposure.
As a dark radiator, the device emits no light and causes no glare, which is especially advantageous in work areas. The devices are maintenance-free as no wear parts are installed, and operate completely silently without air draft. Depending on the power level, the heaters can be connected to both 230V and 400V, offering flexible installation options.

| S+ 12 Anticor | 1200 W | 1550 x 150 x 60 | 7.8 kg | 230 V |
| S+ 18 Anticor | 1800 W | 1550 x 250 x 60 | 12.4 kg | 230 / 400 V |
| S+ 24 Anticor | 2400 W | 1550 x 250 x 60 | 12.4 kg | 230 / 400 V |
| S+ 30 Anticor | 3000 W | 1550 x 350 x 60 | 16.7 kg | 230 / 400 V |
| S+ 36 Anticor | 3600 W | 1550 x 350 x 60 | 16.7 kg | 230 / 400 V |
Application recommendations for optimal heating performance
For full heating of a hall with an installation height of 5 meters, you generally need about 100 W/m² heating power, although this value can vary by about 20 W depending on insulation and room conditions. Control is via thermostats that switch the heating panels on and off as needed, ensuring efficient energy use.
For zone heating with installation heights between 3 and 4.5 meters, we recommend using several smaller power units. These can be operated in series with differentiated control, which not only saves energy but also ensures optimal heat distribution at the desired workstations.
The Anticor version in detail
The Anticor coating was specially developed for use in aggressive environments. In areas with high humidity, salty air, or chemical exposure, the double protective layer provides reliable corrosion protection. This makes the Ecosun S+ Anticor the first choice for applications in the food industry, agriculture, coastal regions, or anywhere standard heaters would quickly reach their limits.
Installation and mounting
The devices can be mounted on the ceiling or on the wall. Angle brackets are available as accessories, allowing inclined mounting to optimally direct the heat radiation to the desired area. Connection is made depending on the model to a 230V circuit; from 1800W power, a 400V connection is also possible.
Important: According to the EU Ecodesign Directive 2015/1188, installation is only permitted with external thermostats that have a weekday schedule and at least one of the following functions: adaptive control of heating start, remote control option, or open window detection.
Shortwave or longwave – which technology suits your project?
The choice between longwave and shortwave infrared radiation strongly depends on spatial conditions and requirements. The Ecosun S+ Anticor with its longwave IR-C radiation is optimal for ceiling heights of 3 to 5 meters in well-insulated rooms with low air movement. The heat output is even and continuous, which is ideal for enclosed work areas.
Our Tansun shortwave heaters, on the other hand, provide instant heat through direct radiation and are efficient even at ceiling heights over 10 meters. They are especially suitable for open or poorly insulated areas with high air movement, such as frequently opened gates or drafts. For most industrial applications, shortwave systems offer the more efficient solution. The Ecosun S+ Anticor is the perfect complement for special requirements in compact, protected rooms.
Your advantages at a glance
- Durable and maintenance-free by avoiding wear parts
- Energy-efficient through targeted heat supply only when needed
