Apollo Infrared Heater 

The robust TANSUN Apollo models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimal heating performance. The heater’s critical components are optimally cooled by its design. This feature is particularly important indoors, where there is generally less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and designed for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours per day). 

This product range can be used to heat individual work areas from 10 sqm, as well as to implement full-area (zoned) heating solutions in a hall.   

Key features: 

Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces rather than the air. Similar to sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air temperature remains cold – but entirely without UV radiation. This feature is particularly advantageous when warehouse doors need to be opened regularly or the hall is not extensively insulated.

Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters provide immediate warmth to surfaces and people without first having to heat the air in the room.

Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible, demand-based heating of different open areas within a hall, helping to optimize energy consumption.

Straightforward installation: Simple installation without extensive construction work minimizes space requirements and preserves flexibility in room design. Electric infrared heaters can be installed not only in new buildings but also in existing properties. In these cases, installing underfloor heating or activating the concrete core is generally not a practical option. This technology also requires neither a gas connection nor an exhaust line.

Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with an appropriate electricity supply, carbon-neutral operation is even possible. This solution can help you heat in compliance with the GEG (German Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.

Applications 

Order-picking table, packing table, desk in a hall, workstations by warehouse doors, workshop, sports hall, hall heating, workstation for machine and plant operators, church, marquee hall, etc. 

Installation and operation 

Installation: The wall bracket is attached to the wall with 2 screws (not included). Alternatively, the bracket can be mounted on the ceiling, or the heater can be suspended using chains (chains are not included).

Operation: Simple switching on and off with a wired switch (not included). We recommend operating it in combination with the 2kW Dimmer. 

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. To ensure optimal heating performance, the reflector must be kept clean. Before switching on, the heating tube should be free of foreign objects (leaves, heavy dirt, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In the event of a defect, the tube can be replaced within a few minutes (see the operating instructions).
