Apollo infrared heaters 

The robust TANSUN Apollo models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimum heating performance. The design provides optimal cooling for the heater’s critical components. This feature is especially important indoors, where there is generally less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and designed for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours per day).  

With this product range, you can heat individual work areas from 10 sqm, as well as create whole-area (zone) heating solutions in the hall.   

Key features: 

Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces, not the air. As when sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air remains cold - but without any UV radiation. This feature is particularly beneficial when warehouse doors need to be opened regularly or the hall is not extensively insulated.

Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters warm surfaces and people immediately, without first having to heat the air in the room.

Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible, demand-based heating of different open areas of a hall to optimize energy consumption.

Easy installation: Simple installation without extensive construction work minimizes space requirements and preserves flexibility in room design. Electric infrared heaters are easy to install not only in new buildings, but also in existing buildings. In these cases, installing underfloor heating or activating the concrete core is generally not a practical option. This technology also requires no gas connection or exhaust flue.

Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with an appropriate power supply, carbon-neutral operation is even possible. In that case, this solution helps you heat in compliance with the GEG (Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.

Applications 

Order-picking station, packing table, desk in a hall, workstations by warehouse doors, workshop, sports hall, hall heating, workstation for machine and plant operators, marquee hall, church, etc. 

Installation and operation 

Installation: Secure the 2 wall brackets to the wall using 2 screws each (not included). Alternatively, the brackets can be mounted on the ceiling, or the heater can be suspended using chains (chains not included). An easily accessible wiring box is located on the back of the unit.

Operation: Easily switch on and off using a wired switch (not included). The heater can be controlled centrally or locally with an external dimmer - please get in touch with us.

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. To ensure optimal heating performance, keep the reflector clean. Before switching on the heater, make sure the heating tube is free of foreign objects (leaves, heavy soiling, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. If it becomes defective, the tube can be replaced in just a few minutes (see user manual).
