HELIOS RADIANT Safe Industry IP66 ATEX: explosion-proof infrared heater

The HELIOS RADIANT Safe Industry is an electric infrared heater developed specifically for use in potentially explosive areas. With ATEX certification in accordance with EU Directive 2014/34/EU for zones 2-22, the unit is suitable for installation in explosive atmospheres in accordance with the applicable CE ATEX directives, ideal wherever safety is the top priority.

Applications

Thanks to its robust explosion protection, the heater is predestined for industrial applications in environments with a potential fire risk, including shipyards, storage rooms for flammable substances, paint shops, body shops, the wood, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, agriculture and livestock farming, and workplaces with flammable oils, fuels or combustible dust.

• Degree of protection: IP66, ATEX-certified (zone 2-22)
• Housing: sturdy steel housing in anthracite
• Safety distances: 1.0 m to the sides, 0.32 m to the ceiling, 2.5–3.0 m to the floor
• Mounting: wall or ceiling mounting (45° on the vertical axis recommended)
