Evaporative coolers operate with water—and wherever water is present, biofilm, limescale deposits, odours, and microbial contamination develop sooner or later. Thorough cleaning is particularly important after the cooling season or during extended periods of inactivity, both before storage and before recommissioning, to maintain hygiene, cooling performance, and equipment service life.

PROBIOWAY MULTI is a probiotic cleaning concentrate specially developed for industrial evaporative coolers. It combines conventional cleaning action with the long-term effect of living, non-pathogenic microorganisms. These microorganisms sustainably colonise cooler surfaces and evaporative pads, deprive unwanted germs and odour-causing bacteria of their food source, and leave behind a biologically protective barrier—even beyond the actual cleaning process. The protective effect has been proven to last for at least 5 days.

Application

The product is suitable for three situations: cleaning at the end of the season before storage, activation before the first operation after a prolonged period of inactivity, and, if required, supplementary intermediate cleaning during ongoing operation—for example, in cases of increased odour or after an intensive period of use. Add the recommended amount of concentrate to the filled fresh water tank. Then flush the cooler for 30 minutes in normal operation, with the pump running and the panels wetted. Afterwards, empty the tank completely and rinse with clean water. The process requires no disassembly.

Recommended dosage:

For other devices, use approximately 0.5–1 ml of concentrate per litre of tank capacity as a guide. In cases of heavy soiling, the dosage can be doubled.

Composition and safety

The product consists of 99.7% natural raw materials: anionic and non-ionic surfactants (each < 5%), water, alcohol, thickening agent, pH regulator, and characteristic probiotics. It contains limonene, geraniol, and linalool as fragrances. Under the CLP Regulation, the product does not require classification, contains no SVHC substances, is not classified as dangerous for transport, and bears the ECOCERT label. The surfactants contained comply with the requirements for biodegradability under Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004. Developed and manufactured in France.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place between 5 °C and 35 °C, out of the reach of children.
