Ready-to-Start Bundle: Infrared Heater 3kW(ü) with Dimmer

This attractive bundle includes the TANSUN “Apollo” infrared heater in a powerful 3 kW version plus a practical dimmer and push button. With this dimmer, you can conveniently adjust the heat output steplessly at the push of a button. This lets you set the output of the TANSUN “Apollo” infrared heater exactly as you wish. When you reduce the heater's output with the dimmer, you also lower your electricity consumption.

With this combination of units, you can easily heat an area of around 15 to 20 m², depending on mounting height and ambient temperature. You can also use an optional radio remote control to additionally control the dimmer.

This “ready-to-go bundle” includes the following:

· TANSUN Apollo infrared heater 3 kW, colour RAL 9005 jet black

· Radio/push-button dimmer, steplessly dimmable

· Push button for control at the push of a button

All you need in addition are cables for the connection (between dimmer and push button or power supply). As these lengths vary greatly, they are not part of the bundle.

Apollo infrared heater

The robust TANSUN Apollo models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimum heating performance. The design provides optimum cooling for the heater's critical components. This is especially important indoors, where there is usually less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and perfected for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours a day).

Key features:

Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces rather than the air. Much like sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air temperature stays cold, but entirely without UV radiation. This is a major advantage when warehouse doors have to be opened regularly or the hall is not extensively insulated.

Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters warm surfaces and people instantly, without having to heat the room air first.

Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible, demand-based heating of different open hall areas to optimise energy consumption.

Straightforward installation: Simple installation without extensive construction work minimises the space required and preserves flexibility in room layout. Electric infrared heaters are easy to install not only in new builds but also in existing buildings, where laying underfloor heating or concrete core activation is usually not a sensible option. This technology also requires neither a gas connection nor a flue.

Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with a suitable power supply, even CO2-neutral operation is possible. In that case, this solution helps you heat in compliance with the GEG (German Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.

Applications

Picking tables, packing tables, desks in halls, workplaces at warehouse doors, workshops, sports halls, hall heating, workstations for machine and plant operators, tent halls, churches, etc.

Installation and operation

Installation: The wall brackets are each fixed to the wall with 2 screws (not included in the scope of delivery). Alternatively, the brackets can be mounted on the ceiling, or the heater can be suspended on chains (chains are not included in the scope of delivery). An easily accessible wiring box is located on the underside of the unit. The cable from the heater is connected to the dimmer. The dimmer must be wired to the push button and to a 230V power supply on site.

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. To ensure optimum heating performance, the reflector must be kept clean. Before switching on, the heating tube should be free of foreign objects (leaves, heavy dirt, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In the event of a defect, the tube can be replaced in just a few minutes (see operating instructions).
