Why electric infrared heating for halls and workplaces?
Short-wave infrared heaters do not heat the air; instead, they directly heat surfaces and people within the heated area - comparable to the sun, which still provides warmth on a cold winter’s day. This makes them the only truly sensible method for heating large, poorly insulated or intermittently used halls. Warm air rises and is lost; infrared radiation goes directly where it is needed.
