Advantages of heating with infrared for indoor and outdoor use:

• Shortwave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces in the 'beam of light,' not the air. Like during a lunch break in the sun while skiing, you feel warm even though the air temperature is still cold. For this reason, we believe that shortwave infrared heaters are the only responsible way to heat outdoor or poorly insulated areas.
• No warm-up time is needed. It’s already warm within seconds, so preheating is completely unnecessary.
• CO2-neutral operation is possible when combined with appropriate power supply. Gas-powered alternatives can only compete if hydrogen is used. However, energy losses of 20% to 40% occur during hydrogen production. Also, part of our hydrogen supply currently comes from sources where ESG issues are not a priority. We generally recommend using renewable energy.
• Electric infrared heaters are easy to install not only in new buildings but also in existing properties. Installing underfloor heating or concrete core activation is usually not a practical option here. This technology also requires no gas connection or exhaust system. With electric infrared heaters, your renovation or refurbishment becomes a breeze—only a power connection is needed.
