The robust TANSUN Apollo models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimum heating performance. The design provides optimum cooling for the heater's critical components. This is especially important indoors, where there is usually less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and perfected for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours a day).

With this series, you can heat individual work areas from 10 m² as well as implement full-coverage (zone) heating solutions in halls.

Key features:

Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces rather than the air. Much like sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air temperature stays cold, but entirely without UV radiation. This is a major advantage when warehouse doors have to be opened regularly or the hall is not extensively insulated.

Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters warm surfaces and people instantly, without having to heat the room air first.

Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible, demand-based heating of different open hall areas to optimise energy consumption.

Straightforward installation: Simple installation without extensive construction work minimises the space required and preserves flexibility in room layout. Electric infrared heaters are easy to install not only in new builds but also in existing buildings, where laying underfloor heating or concrete core activation is usually not a sensible option. This technology also requires neither a gas connection nor a flue.

Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with a suitable power supply, even CO2-neutral operation is possible. In that case, this solution helps you heat in compliance with the GEG (German Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.

Applications

Picking tables, packing tables, desks in halls, workplaces at warehouse doors, workshops, sports halls, hall heating, workstations for machine and plant operators, churches, tent halls, etc.

Installation and operation

Installation: The wall bracket is fixed to the wall with 2 screws (not included in the scope of delivery). Alternatively, the bracket can be mounted on the ceiling, or the heater can be suspended on chains (chains are not included in the scope of delivery).

Operation: Simply switch on and off with a hard-wired switch (not included in the scope of delivery). The heater can be controlled centrally or locally with an external dimmer. Please get in touch with us about this.

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. To ensure optimum heating performance, the reflector must be kept clean. Before switching on, the heating tube should be free of foreign objects (leaves, heavy dirt, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In the event of a defect, the tube can be replaced in just a few minutes (see operating instructions).
