TEL Forza Infrared Heater 

The robust TEL Forza models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimal heating performance. The design provides optimal cooling for the heater’s critical components. This is particularly important indoors, where there is generally less air circulation than outdoors. The units are extremely durable and perfected for continuous operation (e.g. >8 hours per day). 

With this series, you can heat individual work areas from 10 sqm, as well as implement full-area (zone) heating solutions in a hall.   

Key features: 

Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces rather than the air. Similar to sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air temperature remains cold – but entirely without UV radiation. This feature is particularly advantageous when warehouse doors need to be opened regularly or when the hall is not extensively insulated.

Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters provide immediate warmth to surfaces and people without having to heat the room air first.

Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible, demand-based heating of various open areas within a hall, helping to optimise energy consumption.

Straightforward installation: Simple installation without extensive building work minimises space requirements and preserves flexibility in room design. Electric infrared heating systems can be installed not only in new buildings, but also in existing properties. In these cases, installing underfloor heating or activating the concrete core is generally not a practical option. This technology also requires neither a gas connection nor an exhaust pipe.

Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with an appropriate electricity supply, carbon-neutral operation is even possible. In this case, this solution helps you heat in compliance with the GEG (German Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.

Power connection: 3 phases x 230 V, connection box, without cable, protected by a Type C circuit breaker. The 3 phases can be bridged and operated via a single 230V phase; please observe the amperage.

Applications 

Picking table, packing table, desk in a hall, workstations at warehouse doors, workshop, sports hall, hall heating, workstation for machine and plant operators, church, marquee hall, etc. 

Installation and operation 

Installation: The wall bracket is secured to the wall with screws. Screws and wall plugs are included in the scope of delivery. Alternatively, the bracket can be mounted to the ceiling, or the heater can be suspended using chains (chains are not included in the scope of delivery).

Operation: Simple switching on and off with a wired switch (not included in the scope of delivery). We recommend operating the unit in combination with the 6.8kW dimmer. 

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or carrying out repairs. The reflector must be kept clean to ensure optimal heating performance. Before switching on the unit, the heating tube should be free of foreign objects (leaves, coarse dirt, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In the event of a defect, the tube can be replaced within a few minutes (see the operating instructions).
