Immediate start-clear bundle: TANSUN Infrared Heater Apollo 2x3 kW (s) with dimmer

This attractive bundle includes two TANSUN infrared heaters “Apollo” in a powerful 3 KW version as well as a practical dimmer and switch. With this dimmer, you have the option to conveniently adjust the heating power at the push of a button. This way, you can steplessly set the power of the TANSUN infrared heater “Apollo” according to your wishes. When you reduce the heater's power via the dimmer, you simultaneously lower your electricity consumption.

With this device combination, you can easily heat an area of about 30 - 40 sqm, depending on mounting height and ambient temperature. You also have the option to use an optional radio remote control to additionally control the dimmer.

The following delivery contents are included in this “Ready-to-Start Bundle”:

· 2 x TANSUN infrared heaters Apollo 3 KW; color RAL 9005 deep black

· Radio/push dimmer, steplessly dimmable (6kW over 1 phase)

· Switch for control by push button

You only need cables for connection (between dimmer and switch or power supply). Since these lengths vary greatly, they are not part of the bundle.

Apollo infrared heaters 

The robust TANSUN Apollo models are suitable for both wall mounting and vertical ceiling mounting. The large reflector ensures optimal heating performance. Critical components of the heater are optimally cooled by the design. This feature is especially important indoors, as there is usually less air circulation than outdoors. The devices are extremely durable and perfected for continuous operation (e.g., >8 hours daily). 

Main features: 

Efficient heat: Short-wave infrared heaters primarily warm surfaces, not the air. Similar to sunbathing during winter sports, you feel warm even though the air temperature remains cold – but without any UV component. This feature is very advantageous when warehouse doors need to be opened regularly or the hall is not heavily insulated.

Rapid heating: Short-wave infrared heaters enable immediate warming of surfaces and people without having to heat the room air first.

Zone-specific control: Our technology enables flexible and demand-oriented heating of various open hall areas to optimize energy consumption.

Simple installation: The easy installation without elaborate construction work minimizes space requirements and preserves the flexibility of room design. Electric infrared heaters can be installed not only in new buildings but also in existing properties. Here, laying underfloor heating or concrete core activation is usually not a sensible option. This technology also does not require a gas connection or exhaust duct.

Environmentally friendly: Electric infrared heaters produce no harmful emissions, and with an appropriate power supply, even CO2-neutral operation is possible. In this case, this solution helps to heat in compliance with GEG (Building Energy Act) and achieve your ESG goals.

Installation and operation 

Installation: The wall brackets are each fixed to the wall with 2 screws (not included). Alternatively, the brackets can be mounted on the ceiling or the heater can be suspended with chains (chains are not included). On the underside of the device there is an easily accessible wiring box. The cable from the heater is connected to the dimmer. The dimmer must be wired to the switch as well as to a 230V power supply on site.

Maintenance: Always disconnect the power supply first before cleaning and repairs. To ensure optimal heating performance, the reflector must be kept clean. Before switching on, the heating tube should be free of foreign objects (leaves, coarse dirt, etc.). Cleaning alcohol is suitable for cleaning the tube. In case of a defect, the tube can be replaced in a few minutes (see operating instructions).
